Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join its Derby, Derbyshire team. You will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload, working independently while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high standards of service.

The role involves drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, liaising with estate agents, lenders and other parties, and supervising junior colleagues where required.

Qualifications

• Residential conveyancing experience is required.
• Ability to manage own caseload independently.
• Strong client care and communication skills.
• Proactive, organised and deadline focused.
• Professional and confidential approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of residential sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and property documents.
• Provide clear and practical legal advice to clients.
• Liaise with estate agents, solicitors, lenders and other third parties.
• Conduct property searches and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate case management records and meet deadlines.
• Support junior colleagues and assist with supervision as required.
• Manage matters from instruction to completion.
