Job summary

Lets Recruit Limited is seeking a Residential Conveyancer to join the Belper office of a long-established East Midlands practice serving clients for over 100 years. You’ll handle all aspects of residential conveyancing from instruction to completion, including new builds and shared ownership.

You’ll manage title checks, prepare documents, supervise junior staff, and contribute to marketing and business development while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in all aspects of residential conveyancing.
• Able to manage high-volume, fast-paced workloads and meet deadlines.
• Strong record of building lasting client relationships and achieving billing targets.
• Sound technical knowledge across a varied residential property caseload.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and administrative skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient in IT with solid financial awareness.
• Good understanding of AML and GDPR obligations.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on residential sales and purchases, from instruction to completion.
• Conduct title searches, prepare legal documents, and manage post-completion processes.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and external contacts.
• Promote the firm’s positive image and assist with marketing, training, and business development activities.
• Effectively use case management, billing, and financial systems.
• Supervise and support junior or administrative staff, including recruitment and training where required.
• Uphold confidentiality, GDPR, Health & Safety, and AML policies.
