GMP Recruitment Agency Ltd is partnering with a Bristol-based law firm to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancer/Solicitor. The role involves managing a varied caseload and supervising junior staff, with a focus on high-quality client service.

The successful candidate will work in a hybrid setup, handling conveyancing matters from sale and purchase to re-mortgage and leasehold work, while meeting SDLT requirements and managing unregistered properties. Competitive package on offer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience running a complex caseload of residential conveyancing matters.
• Strong knowledge of sales, purchases and re-mortgage matters including leasehold, transfers of equity and new builds.
• SDLT requirements and unregistered properties handling.

Residential Conveyancer/Solicitor | 3 Years PQE +

GMP Recruitment are proud to be supporting a highly respected Bristol based law firm in the recruitment of an experienced Residential Conveyancer/Solicitor to join their dynamic team.

We are looking for truly passionate and self-motivated individuals who can build upon and directly contribute to the continued success of the business.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will report to the Directors, managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing work whilst supervising and developing junior members of staff.

Strong client relationship skills are essential to meet the needs and expectations of clients and ever-growing introducer base, who always expect a high level of professional service.

Whilst a qualified Lawyer (Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer) would be desirable, we can also consider non-qualified conveyancers.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered, applicants should possess:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience running a complex caseload of residential conveyancing matters.
• Strong knowledge and technical experience of:
• Residential conveyancing across the full range of sale, purchase and re-mortgage matters.
• Leasehold and lease extension work.
• Transfers of Equity
• New build
• SDLT requirements, including relevant reliefs and exemptions, in residential conveyancing matters.
• Dealing with unregistered properties.
• The impact of restrictions and cautions lodged against a property and how these might be removed.
