Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to join a well-established property team in Bristol. You will manage a full conveyancing caseload from instruction to post-completion while upholding high standards of client service.

The role involves mentoring junior colleagues, liaising with clients and external parties, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor/FCILEx or CLC registered with strong residential conveyancing experience
• Ability to manage a caseload independently from instruction to completion
• Experience mentoring, supervising or supporting colleagues would be advantageous
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to post-completion
• Ensure transactions progress efficiently, meeting deadlines and client expectations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide clear legal advice
• Liaise with clients, solicitors, agents and other parties involved in transactions
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper-based records and ensure regulatory compliance
• Support and mentor junior team members and act as a positive ambassador for the firm

Job description

An established law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to join its Residential Property team in Bristol.

This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload while supporting the wider team and maintaining high standards of client service.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a residential property caseload from initial instruction through to post-completion, including:

• Handling a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters
• Managing transactions efficiently while meeting deadlines and client expectations
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Providing clear and practical legal advice throughout the conveyancing process
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, agents and other relevant parties
• Maintaining accurate electronic and paper-based records
• Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where required
• Acting as a positive ambassador for the firm

Requirements

The following qualifications are required:

• Solicitor, FCILEx qualified or CLC registered
• Strong experience in residential conveyancing
• Detailed understanding of property law and conveyancing procedures
• Ability to manage a caseload independently from instruction to completion
• Experience supervising, supporting or mentoring colleagues would be advantageous
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in a busy and collaborative environment
• Competent using IT systems and case management software
