Job summary

Bespoke Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Residential & Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor to join our client’s growing Property team in Lydney. This full-time role runs Mon-Fri 9-5 with on-site parking and potential for progression.

You will manage residential and commercial conveyancing from start to finish, draft and review documents, liaise with clients and third parties, and ensure compliance with Land Registry and SDLT requirements. A minimum of 5 years PQE is required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE.
• Experience in both residential and commercial conveyancing.
• Strong drafting and document review skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist with residential and commercial conveyancing transactions from inception to completion.
• Draft, review and amend legal documents.
• Undertake legal and document reviews and identify issues requiring further consideration.
• Assist with searches, enquiries and title reports.
• Deal with post-completion requirements including Land Registry applications and SDLT returns.
• Liaise with clients, solicitors, agents and third parties.
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper records and keep files up to date.

Residential & Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor | Full Time Mon- Fri 9-5 | Lydney | £ 45,000 - £ 65,000 per annum, depending on experience

Our client has a long heritage of practising in and around Gloucester and the Forest of Dean, having been in existence under various names for almost 100 years.

The two partners have extensive legal experience in the Forest of Dean and, they take a pride in having that special local knowledge.

They are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Residential & Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor to join their growing Property team.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE.
• Practical experience in both residential and commercial conveyancing is essential
• Strong technical legal skills, particularly in legal drafting and document review
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A professional and client-focused approach
• Good IT and general administrative skills

What will your role look like?

• Assisting with residential and commercial conveyancing transactions, including commercial lettings, from inception through to completion
• Drafting, reviewing and amending legal documentation
• Undertaking legal and document reviews and identifying issues requiring further consideration
• Assisting with searches, enquiries, reports on title and other conveyancing matters
• Dealing with post-completion requirements, including the preparation and submission of Land Registry applications and SDLT returns
• Liaising professionally with clients, solicitors, agents and other third parties
• Completing file-opening procedures and client identity and verification checks
• Maintaining accurate electronic and paper records and ensuring files are kept up to date
