Job Description:

Are you an experienced Children's & Young Person Support Worker?

We are looking for Team Leaders who are caring and compassionate individuals with the desire to make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people by leading by example.

What we offer as a Children's Residential Team Leader at Cambian Group:
  • A starting rate of £13.40 - £14.22 per hour depending on experience.
  • Full-time hours with overtime available.
  • £30 sleep-in rate (2-3 sleep-ins per week).
  • Overtime paid at enhanced rates.
  • Shift patterns and rotas supporting work-life balance.
  • Full enhanced children's and adults DBS paid for by The Cambian Group.
  • Full training including a 10-day paid intensive induction course, face-to-face and online learning.
  • 3-5 paid shadowing shifts with experienced staff.
  • Collaborative work with clinical and local authorities.
  • Opportunities for career progression and personal development.

The role involves unpredictable days with duties such as:

  • Planning rotas and supporting management in meetings and appointments.
  • Working on a rota basis with sleep-ins, with flexible working arrangements available.
  • Meeting OFSTED regulations to support children and young people's needs.

Applicants must hold a UK driving license.

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements:
  • Ability to assist in implementing the Statement of Purpose.
  • Supervision and personal development responsibilities.
  • Carrying out tasks as directed by management.
  • Deputising in the absence of managers.
