Job summary

Nurse Seekers are recruiting for a Residential Children's Support Worker in Tottenham to join a well-established children's residential care provider. You will work as a Support Worker delivering consistent care in a family-style environment, promoting emotional well-being and development.

The role involves safeguarding, building trust, supporting education and daily living skills, and collaborating with the team to achieve each childs goals.

Qualifications

• GCSE level education or equivalent
• Willingness to undertake training and continuous professional development
• Previous experience (paid or unpaid) working with children and young people
• Basic knowledge of safeguarding legislation and childrens homes regulations
• Ability to build positive relationships with children presenting emotional or behavioural challenges
• Honest, reliable, empathetic, and resilient
• Strong written and IT skills for recording and reporting

Hours: 37-40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Day Shifts 07:45 - 20:15

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the daily lives of children and young people. You will act as a positive role model, offering consistent care, guidance, and emotional support within a safe and nurturing family-style environment.
