Part Time/Permanent: hours per week

Location: Headsnook, Brampton (as well as other locations in Carlisle)

North Lakes Children’s Services is a well-established provider of residential care and education for boys aged -. We aim to improve resilience, self-esteem, and abilities.

As a Residential Support Worker, you are expected to be committed, passionate, and supportive. Your role involves being a positive role model, supporting young people's routines, and fostering their development.

Main Duties include:

• Supporting daily routines, personal hygiene, meals, and activities
• Supporting room cleaning, life skills, socialization, and bedtime routines
• Attending medical and other appointments
• Supporting activity plans
• Completing day sheets and working on targets
• Completing paperwork and checks
• Building relationships with families and planning family contacts

All applicants must have:

• Flexibility for shift work, including sleep-in nights
• Understanding of issues faced by young people in care
• Relevant qualifications or willingness to work towards them
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
• Willingness to undergo DBS check (paid by us)
• Experience in relevant fields is advantageous
• Full UK driving license
