Job summary

East Sussex County Council is seeking a Residential Childcare Practitioner to support children’s development and wellbeing across East Sussex. You will work with children, their families and other professionals to provide a safe, nurturing environment.

We offer a comprehensive induction and an apprenticeship in the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, with all course fees paid. Flexible hours around term times, holidays and weekends, plus opportunities to lead projects such as promoting

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people.
• Interest in child development and learning.
• Able to work effectively as part of an integrated childcare team.
