Job summary
Impact Futures, on behalf of The Childcare Company, is recruiting a Residential Childcare Development Coach to deliver teaching, coaching and mentoring for apprentices on the Children, Young People and Families Practitioner- Residential Pathway. The role combines home-based delivery with occasional learner visits across your area.
Salary up to £37k (dependent on experience) plus a KPI-based bonus; hybrid working; excellent benefits and progression opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 5 qualification in Residential Childcare/CYP.
- GCSE Maths and English at C/4 or above.
- At least 2 years of managerial or team-leader experience in a residential setting.
- Teaching qualification such as PTLLS/AET is required or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Lead a caseload of learners with monthly teaching sessions using blended delivery.
- Observe, review and provide feedback on learner evidence to support EPA.
- Support learners to achieve English and Maths Functional Skills if needed.
- Identify and support learners with additional learning needs.
