Job summary

A reputable training provider is seeking a Childcare Apprenticeship Tutor to deliver Level 2, 3, and 5 apprenticeships to learners in the Early Years sector. The role involves engaging with employers and learners, ensuring quality teaching, meeting key performance indicators, and maintaining accurate learner records using electronic systems. Candidates should have Room Leader experience and be willing to attain the necessary qualifications. This is a hybrid position based in Portsmouth, UK.

Qualifications

• Experience as Room Leader or in a similar senior role in childcare.
• Willingness to work towards required assessment qualifications.
• Occupational experience in the childcare sector is essential.

Job description

FIND are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well established and growing Training provider to hire a Childcare Apprenticeship Tutor.

Hybrid with some occasional travel to visit apprentices in their workplace setting, the successful candidate will deliver Level 2,3 & 5 Apprenticeships to learners in the Early Years sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with employers and learners to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
• Deliver qualifications across a range of programme levels where occupationally competent, in accordance with quality processes and in line with our continuous Improvement strategy.
• Meeting KPIs set for starts, progression, timely achievement, leavers and customer satisfaction in line with quality & compliance.
• Be proficient in the use of electronic portfolio systems to record learner interventions, reviews, upload work, and all required off-the-job training, maintaining learner information, ensuring quality and integrity of data, which is accurately recorded and submitted efficiently, to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Core Competencies

• Room Leader or Senior Level experience working in a childcare setting – Room Leader, Deputy/ Assistant Manager or Nursery Manager experience
• CAVA/D32/33/A1 or equivalent training/assessment related qualification or willingness to work towards
• Occupational experience in sector is a must!
