Residential Child Care Workers – Sessional posts available
£12 - £15.44 per hour (depending on qualifications, enhancement for nightshift hours)
Nether Johnstone House is an independent service located in Johnstone, Renfrewshire. We provide residential care for ‘Looked after Children’ who for a variety of reasons are unable to be cared for at home. We cater for short term and long-term placements and where required offer a respite service. We provide a safe, respectful and nurturing environment for all children & young people, promoting the development of personal growth and achievement.
We are currently looking to recruit sessional Residential Child Care Workers with enthusiasm, passion and who can demonstrate a commitment to our children and young people.
Residential Child Care workers will contribute to all aspects of the physical and emotional care of the children/young people in order to promote their welfare whilst working in partnership with their family and other professionals on a day to day and long terms basis.
The post will involve shift and weekend working.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants will be supported to gain additional qualifications required and encouraged to maintain their own continuous professional development as required by SSSC.
