Randstad Care is seeking dedicated care professionals for a children's residential service near Dunscore, Scotland. The role focuses on providing round-the-clock emotional and practical support to vulnerable children, with care plans tailored to help them progress toward independence.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence is mandatory.
• Experience in children's residential care, social work, or supporting younger family members is valued.
• Must pass an enhanced PVG check with two years of verifiable reference history.
• Right to work in the UK is required; sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-standard emotional and practical support to young people in the home.
• Build meaningful connections to provide stability during challenging moments.
• Accompany young people to school, medical appointments, and leisure trips.
• Maintain accurate electronic care records daily.
• Assist with light housekeeping and domestic tasks when residents are at school.
• Complete intensive shift blocks involving overnight stay duties.
