Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Residential Care Manager for Elstree View Care Home in Borehamwood. You will lead Care Supervisors to ensure high-quality personal care and advocate for residents, promoting their wellbeing and valued independence.

Applicants should have NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent, and at least two years' leadership experience in long-term care, with a commitment to compassionate, respectful, and accountable service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent.
• A minimum of two years' experience in long-term care or similar.
• Experience in leading a team in a similar care environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the resident assessment process.
• Ensure planned care is accurate and reflected in each individual care plan.
• Support, guide, and develop team members.
• Manage the storage and cleaning of equipment after use in line with manufacturer instructions.
• Ensure compliance with the Safe Medication Management programme and robust auditing.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Residential Care Manager will be to manage the group of Care Supervisors within the home ensuring that

a high-quality delivery of personal care is delivered to our residents. You will be an advocate for all residents,

maintaining

the best interest in all areas of the resident's wellbeing.
