Job summary

Isle of Anglesey County Council is seeking an Assistant Manager for a Residential Care Home at Brwynog on Anglesey. You will support the Registered Manager in daily running, ensure compliance with Welsh care standards, and cover manager duties in their absence.

This role involves assisting in budgetary management, supervising staff, and contributing to a high standard of care for residents. A DBS check is required and Welsh language skills are preferred for this position.

Responsibilities

• To assist the Registered Manager in all aspects of the day to day running of the home.
• To act as the Home Manager across the whole range of duties in the absence of the Registered Managers.
• To assist the Home Manager with the budgetary management of the home on a day to day basis .
• To be responsible for assisting in the management and supervision of the staff team.
