Job summary

M & D Care in Wales is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead our residential service in Plwmp, Llandysul. You will ensure high standards of care, drive compliance, and develop a strong, engaged team to support individuals to maintain independence and participate in the community.

The role requires QCF Level 5 (or Level 3 with progression toward Level 5), proven management experience in social care, excellent communication, and the ability to oversee care plans, risk assessments,

Qualifications

• QCF Level 5 or working towards Level 5 is preferred.
• Experience managing staff in a social care setting.
• Strong understanding of supported living and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily running of the service and ensure high standards of care.
• Lead, support and develop staff, including recruitment, training, and supervision.
• Manage rotas, staffing levels, records, reports and compliance.
• Maintain safe, effective services in line with legislation and company policies.
• Ensure personalised care plans and risk assessments are up to date.
• Build positive relationships with families, professionals and the wider community.
• Handle complaints, incidents and quality improvements.
• Support business development and staff retention.
