Job summary

Autism West Midlands is recruiting a Deputy Manager for Upper Ford Lodge in Droitwich Spa. You will lead a team, ensure high-quality person-centred support for nine adults and work closely with the Registered Care Manager to maintain standards.

Shifts include early and late, with weekends; you will help with rota planning, recruitment, induction and performance management while safeguarding and quality audits remain central to the role.

Qualifications

Leadership and line-management experience in adult social care.
Ability to supervise and mentor care staff.
Strong understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding.
Knowledge of CQC standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead and support the team; provide day-to-day leadership with the RCM.
Ensure high-quality, person-centred support promoting independence and well-being.
Oversee safeguarding, medication, health & safety, risk management and audits.
Build relationships with families, healthcare professionals and other agencies.
