Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking a Cook for a vulnerable adults service in Tile Hill, Coventry. This 2-month contract involves preparing nutritious meals for residents, respite users, and staff, with emphasis on safety and dietary requirements.

The role requires prior Cook experience in a residential care setting, Food Safety Level 1/2, Food Hygiene Level 1/2, and an Enhanced DBS (Cook) clearance. Bi-weekly payroll is supported.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Cook in a care environment.
• Ability to cook for groups of approximately 21 people.
• Food Safety Level 1 or 2 and Food Hygiene Level 1 or 2.
• Enhanced DBS (Cook) essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook lunch and evening meals for residents, staff and visitors.
• Cater for approximately 21 people daily with dietary needs.
• Follow all food hygiene, safety and health policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen and monitor stock levels.
• Collaborate with the care team to support residents and service users.
