Job summary

St Leonards School is seeking a Non-Resident House Tutor to join the boarding team. The post involves supervising boarders aged 10–18, maintaining high standards of conduct, and supporting both boarding and day students.

Responsibilities include coordinating duties with the Housemaster/Housemistress, attending staff meetings, and ensuring student welfare in a live-in setting. Hours are term-time only, with a 40-hour week and a permanent contract.

Responsibilities

• Supervise boarding students at all times, including weekends.
• Maintain discipline and promote polite, punctual, and supportive behaviour.
• Foster the development of boarding and day students’ physical, social, cultural and spiritual growth.
• Coordinate with Housemaster/Housemistress and Deputy Head (Pastoral) for duties.
• Liaise with School Medical Centre regarding student health and welfare.
• Assist with airport runs and term/half-term travel arrangements.
