JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join a growing team in Cornwall, based in Truro. The role focuses on guiding residential projects from concept to delivery within an in-house design unit, collaborating with land, planning and development colleagues.

The successful candidate will have qualifications as Architect/Technologist, strong technical knowledge, and experience with housing schemes in a UK practice. Hybrid working and a competitive package are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified Architect, Architectural Technologist or Architectural Technician.
• Residential project experience is essential.
• Experience working on housing developments is highly desirable.
• Strong technical and construction knowledge.
• Experience working within a UK architectural practice or developer environment.
• Ability to manage projects and work independently.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Producing planning, technical and construction drawing packages.
• Working on residential developments from initial concept through to delivery.
• Coordinating consultants and external stakeholders.
• Assisting with planning submissions and technical approvals.
• Liaising closely with the land, planning and development teams.
• Ensuring designs comply with Building Regulations and technical standards.
• Supporting the continued growth of the in-house architectural team.
