Job summary

Kingsley Healthcare in England is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan and run a varied programme of daily activities for residents, promoting wellbeing and social engagement.

You will draw on arts, theatre, music, hospitality and events experience to create welcoming, meaningful activities; reports to Home Manager/Regional Hospitality & Lifestyle Manager. Previous roles in care, community, leisure or events are welcome; candidate should be compassionate and adaptable.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in leisure, lifestyle, hospitality or events is an advantage.
• Strong organisational and planning skills for a busy care-home environment.
• Excellent communication with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to lead groups and manage volunteers while maintaining compassionate care.

• Plan and implement a varied daily activities programme to promote wellbeing and social interaction for residents.
• Coordinate events, theatre/arts activities, hospitality experiences and outings that fit residents’ needs.
