Job summary

Warner Hotels Group at Gunton Hall is seeking a Resident Stage Technician to support the delivery of our Entertainment and Activities program and ensure high standards of sound and lighting for performances.

You will liaise with visiting artists, work with the resident show team on new productions, and maintain entertainment equipment. This role offers opportunities for career development through in-house training and external qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar resident entertainment role.
• Ability to liaise with visiting artists and teams.
• Comfort with maintaining equipment and ensuring safety.

Responsibilities

• Liaise and support visiting artists to ensure high standard of performance with sound and lights checks.
• Collaborate with the in-house band and show team in creating and performing new production shows.
• Maintain and upkeep all entertainment equipment and areas to a high standard.
• Contribute to the quality and delivery of the entertainment product.

Join our team at Gunton Hall, part of the Warner Hotels Group. This 212-bedroom coastal hotel has a rural feel, surrounded by Suffolk woodland, gardens, a lake, and pitch-and-putt course.

We have a great opportunity for a Resident Stage Technician to join our team to support the delivery of our Entertainment and Activities program, creating a fantastic experience for all of our Warner Hotels guests.

The purpose of the role:

• To liaise and support our visiting artists to ensure all acts deliver a high standard of performance each and every time, giving a sound and lights check.
• Work with the in house resident band & show team in the creation & performance of new production shows.
• Ensure a high standard of maintenance & upkeep to all of the entertainment equipment and areas.
• Any and all responsibilities associated with the quality and delivery of the entertainment product.

The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar role or environment. Combined with empathy for our guests, and working as part of the Resident Entertainment Team, be flexible in approach and delivery to ensure a high quality standard of all activities, experiences and performances.
