Job summary

Warner Hotels at Gunton Hall in Lowestoft seeks a Resident Stage Technician to support the entertainment and activities programme, delivering high standard sound and lighting checks and assisting with production shows.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, empathy for guests, and be flexible to ensure top-quality activities, experiences and performances. Live-in options and staff discounts are among the benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within entertainment or events.
• Ability to liaise with visiting artists and venue teams.
• Comfort with operating sound and lighting checks to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Liaise and support visiting artists to ensure high standard performances with sound and lights checks.
• Work with resident band and show team in creation and delivery of new production shows.
• Maintain and upkeep entertainment equipment and areas to a high standard.
• Contribute to the quality and delivery of the entertainment product.

Join our team at Gunton Hall, part of the Warner Hotels Group. This 212-bedroom coastal hotel has a rural feel, surrounded by Suffolk woodland, gardens, a lake, and pitch-and-putt course.

We have a great opportunity for a Resident Stage Technician to join our team to support the delivery of our Entertainment and Activities program, creating a fantastic experience for all of our Warner Hotels guests.

The purpose of the role:

• To liaise and support our visiting artists to ensure all acts deliver a high standard of performance each and every time, giving a sound and lights check.
• Work with the in house resident band & show team in the creation & performance of new production shows.
• Ensure a high standard of maintenance & upkeep to all of the entertainment equipment and areas.
• Any and all responsibilities associated with the quality and delivery of the entertainment product.

The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar role or environment. Combined with empathy for our guests, and working as part of the Resident Entertainment Team, be flexible in approach and delivery to ensure a high quality standard of all activities, experiences and performances.
