We are recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to work on a large estate in the York area, providing electrical and building services maintenance.

The role is a permanent position, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (days). The salary is up to £42,000 basic plus overtime (on-call TBC).

Maintenance Electrician Duties:

1. Perform PPM tasks, including emergency lighting inspection, testing, repair, and compliance checks.
2. Carry out reactive maintenance on various plant and equipment as directed by the technical supervisor.
3. Diagnose faults and identify/implement solutions.
4. Conduct risk assessments.
5. Adhere to PPM schedules.
6. Contribute to continuous process and system improvements.
7. Identify faults accurately and implement appropriate solutions promptly.
8. Attend departmental meetings as required.
9. Collaborate with your team and the wider business to foster a learning culture.
10. Assist senior management as needed.
11. Communicate clearly with key stakeholders to ensure team results.
12. Perform basic mechanical and fabric maintenance roles.

Requirements:

1. Fully qualified, time-served electrician.
2. Ideally hold 18th edition regulations certificate.
3. Previous maintenance experience.
4. Demonstrate multi-skilled/mechanical competency.
5. Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
6. Client-facing with good customer service skills.
