Job summary

The Orders of St John Care Trust is seeking an Activities Coordinator at Westgate House in Wallingford. You’ll create and deliver an ongoing programme of activities and events tailored to residents’ interests, promoting independence and engagement.

You’ll work with the care team to involve families and the local community, encourage participation, and bring warmth, fun and meaningful moments to daily life.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and delivering events and activities for residents.
• Experience working with elderly people in residential settings.
• Able to engage with residents individually and in groups.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver an ongoing programme of activities and events tailored to residents' needs.
• Engage with the local community to bring in participants and resources.
• Encourage participation from staff, relatives, and volunteers to enrich activities.
