Job summary

Gold Care Homes' Queensway House in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an activities coordinator to plan and organise activities for all residents, including outings, with flexibility to maximise benefits.

You will support residents' social, intellectual and spiritual well-being, maintain records, work with staff and relatives, and help implement care plans while ensuring health and safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience planning activities for older adults in a care setting.
• Ability to deliver physical, psychological and social care to residents.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills in a privacy-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan daytime and evening activities to engage residents.
• Coordinate with staff, relatives and external services for outings.
• Maintain records and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Encourage resident participation and document outcomes.
• Support the home’s philosophy of care and confidentiality.
