Job summary

CrossReach in Scotland is seeking a Housekeeper to help keep resident spaces clean, tidy and welcoming. You will maintain bedrooms and communal areas, support laundry duties and ensure supplies are available, contributing to a safe, comfortable home for residents, visitors and staff.

The role focuses on practical, hands-on work with an emphasis on infection prevention, safety procedures and high cleanliness standards, within a Christian organisation supporting diverse individuals.

Qualifications

• You will be organised, reliable and have a strong attention to detail.
• Previous housekeeping, cleaning or hospitality experience is welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms and communal areas
• Follow infection prevention and health and safety procedures
• Support laundry duties and linen management
• Replenish supplies and maintain cleaning equipment
• Identify and report maintenance issues
• Help maintain a safe and pleasant environment throughout the service
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the home
