We are seeking to recruit Resident Engineer (Electrical) with relevant experience in site supervision activities for a position within various counties throughout Ireland (Nationwide). Candidates will be seconded into a client office/site to work on capital projects in the water and wastewater sectors. Candidates with suitable experience interested in similar positions elsewhere in Ireland can also apply and will be considered for future opportunities.

Desirable skills/attributes:

• Experience in administering Contracts – Public Works & FIDIC.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation and Regulations.
• Chartered Engineer.
• Managing Safely in Construction Training.
• Enthusiastic, hardworking, and flexible.
• Willing to take responsibility and work well in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities:

• Specializing in electrical elements of the works.
• Driving project delivery on site for Uisce Éireann, focusing on health & safety, schedule, cost management, and quality standards.
• Ensuring works comply with contract documents and specifications.
• Monitoring and reporting on works to the Employer’s Requirements.
• Keeping all stakeholders informed of on-site issues.
• Implementing Uisce Éireann safety policies and standards.
• Reviewing project-specific HSQE documentation such as RAMS and TMP.
• Monitoring compliance with health and safety requirements and proposals.
• Conducting weekly health and safety site reviews and ensuring issues are resolved.
• Reporting all incidents to Uisce Éireann and assisting with investigations and corrective actions.
• Participating in monthly HSQE inspections and ensuring issues are addressed.
