Linde Material Handling is seeking a Site Engineer for Solihull to service forklift trucks and material handling equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and work from early to late shifts with travel to various locations in the UK.

Ideal candidates have mechanical or electrical engineering experience, IT literacy, and a valid UK driving license. NVQ3 is preferred but not essential, with opportunities for training and career growth.

Responsabilités

• Work across day and late shift patterns (06:00–14:30 and 14:30–23:00) and travel to customer sites.

We are currently looking for a Site Engineer to join our team in Solihull to work Monday to Friday, on a days and lates shift pattern on 06.00 - 14.30 and a 14.30 - 23.00 shift pattern.

We are looking for vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers who have experience working as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician or a similar type of role. Experience within plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners may make this role perfect for you!

Working with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, VNA trucks and automated trucks, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at our customer site.

Who are we looking for?

To be considered for this role, you will need experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Mechanical engineering
• Electrical engineering
• Hydraulics

Ideally you will have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification, although this is not essential.

You will need to be IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders.

You must hold a full UK driving license.
