Main duties of the jobWe have an exceptional opportunity for doctorswith a general medical background and an interest in oncology. You will be working at The Christie Private Care in Manchester. This is a Joint Venture partnership with The Christie NHS Foundation trust. The Christie Private Care is a dedicated Oncology unit rated by CQC as 'Outstanding'. You will become part of our established resident doctor team. This is a fantastic opportunity for middle grade doctors to work alongside renowned consultants in their respective fields.
About usYou will work as an integral part of the experienced and established resident doctorteam employed by HCA. You will be responsible for the daily medical needs of inpatients performing daily patient ward rounds. You will also clerk new planned and unplanned admissions, attend to medical emergencies and manage patients at the end of their life. The Consultant team you will be working with spans medical and clinical oncology, surgery and palliative care. You will also work as an integral part of the ward MDT which includes nursing staff, specialist nurses, physiotherapists, dieticians and pharmacists.
