Job summary

Woodend Care Home, part of Bupa, is seeking a Hospitality Assistant to deliver friendly, resident‑focused service and help maintain a welcoming dining environment. You will serve meals, assist residents and support colleagues across shifts.

The role offers a part‑time contract with a focus on creating a home‑from‑home atmosphere, free meals on shifts, and access to Bupa welfare benefits and pension options.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing environment with a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Maintaining high standards in the home to ensure residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience.
• Clear communication and helpfulness to support the team and residents.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service to residents.
• Ensuring high quality food presentation at all times.
• Serving meals and drinks to residents in dining areas and rooms.
• Cleaning dining areas to keep them tidy and presentable.
• Serving refreshments outside meal times to residents, relatives and visitors as required.
