Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to help provide a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents, families and visitors. You’ll serve meals, prepare dining areas and support with kitchen duties, contributing to the high standards we’re known for.

You’ll work with our hospitality and kitchen teams to deliver an enjoyable mealtime experience, emphasising friendly service, safety and teamwork in a busy care home environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospitality, catering or customer service environment.
• A friendly, caring and professional approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• An understanding of food hygiene and health and safety practices.
• A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and refreshments to residents, families and visitors.
• Prepare dining areas to ensure a clean, welcoming environment.
