Job summary

No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.

The role involves leading and organising activities, accompanying residents to events, and creating a friendly, sociable atmosphere.

Qualifications

• No previous experience is required; full training will be provided.
• You should enjoy leading and organising activities, be organised, sociable and active, and enjoy bringing people together.
• A flexible, hard-working and caring attitude is required, with a dedication to working as part of a dedicated team.
• This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Provide stimulating and meaningful activities tailored to residents' skills, hobbies and interests.
• Create a happy and caring atmosphere by putting residents' needs first and supporting privacy, dignity and independence.
• Accompany residents to events like local country fairs and lead activities such as chair exercises and arts and crafts.
• Support residents with physical, social, emotional and psychological activities and encourage participation.
