Job summary

Hartford Care Ltd is seeking an Activities Coordinator to provide stimulating and meaningful activities for residents. You will tailor activities to individual interests, aiming to improve quality of life while upholding privacy, dignity and independence.

The role creates a happy, caring atmosphere by prioritising residents' needs and delivering a wide range of activities. Training is provided, and the position offers opportunities to lead and organise engaging sessions within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Create stimulating and meaningful activities for residents.

• Accompany residents on outings (e.g., local country fair) and run sessions (e.g., chair exercises, arts and crafts).

The Role

As anActivities Coordinatoryou will providestimulating and meaningful activitiesfor our residents. You willtailor these activities, taking into account individual skills, hobbies and interests, aiming to improve the quality of life, whilst promoting and upholding our resident’s privacy, dignity and independence at all times.

Your role is to create ahappy and caring atmosphere; puttingresidents needs first, providing a wide range of physical, social, emotional and psychological activitiestailored to the individual. Werespect differencesand recognise our staff and residents will have different needs. This is avaried rolewhich may include youaccompanying residents to the local country fair, leading achair exerciseclass,reminiscingwith a resident about their childhood holidays, ordoing arts and crafts.

No previous experienceis required for this role as we willprovide full training. This role would be suited to you if youenjoy leading and organising activities, areorganised,you aresociable, active, lovingbringing people together.
