Job summary

Greensleeves Care is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator to deliver a engaging activities programme within our care homes in England. You will identify resident needs, liaise with residents, relatives and staff, and plan diverse activities that suit individual abilities and interests.

You will work with the Activities Assistant and management team to ensure confidentiality, high-quality engagement, and a person-centred approach, supporting residents across 24-hour care services.

Qualifications

• Understanding the needs of residents.
• Understanding the importance of confidentiality.
• Experience in organising activities.
• Experience supervising or delegating work to others.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident activity needs through observation and discussion.
• Liaise with residents, relatives and staff to capture likes, dislikes, interests and abilities.
• Plan, lead or participate in a varied activity programme using available resources.
• Collaborate with the Activities Assistant, Registered Manager and colleagues to meet resident needs.
