Hatzfeld Care Ltd is seeking a compassionate and creative Activities Co-ordinator to plan, organise and deliver meaningful activities for residents at Laughton Croft Residential Home in Gainsborough. The role is full-time and will include some weekends, with a focus on promoting social interaction and cognitive engagement to enhance residents' quality of life.

You will work closely with care staff, families, volunteers and external entertainers, manage the activity budget, and ensure activities

Qualifications

• Plan and deliver activities tailored to residents' physical, emotional and cognitive needs.
• Promote participation in group and 1:1 activities such as arts, music and reminiscence therapy.
• Work with care staff, families, volunteers and external entertainers.
• Monitor engagement and adapt activities for changing needs and abilities.
• Ensure activities are safe, inclusive and compliant with safeguarding and health & safety rules.
• Maintain activity supplies and manage the activity budget.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a variety of activities tailored to meet residents' needs.
• Promote participation in group and one-to-one activities.
• Collaborate with care staff, families and volunteers to enhance the activity programme.
• Monitor engagement and progress and adapt activities accordingly.
• Ensure activities are inclusive, safe and appropriate for residents.
