Curaa Group is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator to support residents with engaging daily activities. This 17-hour weekly role runs over 3 days, including weekends, in our care home in Clevedon.

You will build rapport with residents and relatives, plan holidays, trips, and events, and ensure risk assessments are completed for all activities. The role requires empathy, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to changing needs in a person-centred care environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee varied and engaging activities for the residents.
• Develop a rapport with residents to support them throughout the day.
• Develop relationships with relatives to help better support and understand residents.
• Plan and organise events for different holidays.
• Arrange trips and excursions for the residents.
• Guarantee that risk assessments are carried out on the activities inside and outside of the home.
• Understand and record the life histories of residents.
