Job summary

University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) is seeking a dedicated Residences Housekeeper to join our Accommodation Team. You will help provide clean, safe, welcoming living environments for NHS staff across our residences, ensuring rooms are prepared and maintained after busy shifts.

The role involves cleaning bedrooms and communal areas, stocking supplies, and reporting maintenance or safety issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning and maintaining accommodation to a high standard.
• Awareness of hygiene and health and safety requirements in residential settings.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning bedrooms, communal areas, kitchens, bathrooms and staff accommodation to a high standard.
• Preparing rooms for new residents, including making beds and replenishing supplies.
• Collecting and distributing linen across accommodation sites.
• Carrying out deep cleaning and specialist cleaning activities.
• Reporting maintenance issues, defects and health & safety concerns.
• Using cleaning equipment and electronic systems safely and effectively.
• Ordering and managing cleaning supplies.
• Supporting a safe, hygienic and welcoming environment for all residents.

We're looking for a dedicated and reliable Residences Housekeeper to join our Accommodation Team, helping to provide high-quality living environments for NHS staff across our residences. You'll play an important part in supporting the wellbeing of the people who care for our patients by ensuring their accommodation is clean, safe, well-maintained and ready after a busy day.

Main duties of the job

The work schedule is:

• 5 days in 7 - 09:00 - 14:00 - 25 hours
