Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Cleaning & Catering Assistants to support services across our hospitals. You will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and support patient meal services, contributing to patient experience, comfort and safety.

• Maintaining wards, patient areas, bathrooms and communal spaces to a high standard.
• Preparing and serving food and beverages to patients.
• Cleaning kitchen and food service areas.
• Safely handling waste, linen and cleaning equipment.
• Working as part of a friendly team to deliver excellent support services.

Competitive pay rates include:

• £12.92 per hour for weekday shifts
• £18.22 per hour for weekday nights (after 8pm) and Saturdays
• £23.64 per hour for Sundays and Bank Holiday

Main duties of the job

What you'll be doing:

• Cleaning clinical and non-clinical areas in line with NHS standards and infection prevention procedures.
• Maintaining wards, patient areas, bathrooms and communal spaces to a high standard.

• Cleaning kitchen and food service areas.
• Safely handling waste, linen and cleaning equipment.

The shifts we have available are:

• Two week rolling rota - 13:30-19:30 - 21 hours a week
• Two week rolling rota - 07.10-13:30 - 21 hours a week
• Monday to Friday - 15:30-20:00 - 22.5 hours a week
• Monday to Friday - 07:10-13:30 - 30 hours a week
