Job summary

Dakota Hotels in Manchester City Centre is seeking an experienced reservations professional to join us as Assistant Head of Reservations. You will lead a multi-site team, maximise revenue and ensure exceptional guest service across every stage of the booking lifecycle.

Reporting to the Head of Reservations, you will optimise direct and partner channel performance, coach the team, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of our packages and promotions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a hotel reservations supervisory role.
• Experience with multi-site or centralised reservations preferred.
• Ability to maximise revenue and guest experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the reservations team across sites.
• Oversee enquiries, third-party platforms, and guest preferences.
• Coordinate with on-property teams to ensure seamless service.
• Train and support system usage and processes (Shiji PMS).
• Resolve complex booking issues with professionalism.
