Qualifications

• Degree in biomedical sciences or equivalent.
• Experience providing technical support in a research laboratory.
• Practical aseptic technique and preparation of media, reagents or samples.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture, sample processing, staining, microscopy or related workflows.
• Knowledge of safe laboratory practices and accurate record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the fungal biointerface programme under supervision.
• Maintain mammalian cell culture workflows and related in vitro models.
• Prepare media, reagents and assay consumables for experiments.
• Support fungal exposure experiments in cell and tissue culture models.
• Assist with staining, imaging, data organisation and sample tracking.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and keep accurate records of protocols and samples.
