A leading cancer research institute is seeking a Research Technician to support innovative projects aimed at improving chemotherapy responses in ovarian cancer. Applications are sought for a Research Technician to provide technical support to the project titled Targeting Immune Cells to Improve Response to Chemotherapy in High-grade Serous Ovarian Cancer. The research will be based in the Centre for Tumour Microenvironment, Barts Cancer Institute, within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
The postholder must have a BSc and MSc (or equivalent) in a biological or related science. Essential requirements include experience working in a biomedical research laboratory, mammalian tissue culture, and mouse handling and basic monitoring. Knowledge of basic mouse techniques such as handling, weighing, cell culture, and cytokine array analysis would be advantageous. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and maintaining accurate laboratory records are also essential.
