About The Role
EBE is seeking a Research Statistician / Data Analyst to join our Research, Development and Education Team. You will work on data generated by our Great Teaching Toolkit (GTT) and other projects. The GTT is used by over 25,000 teachers worldwide. Our goal is to enhance its offerings and reach more educational institutions globally, improving teaching quality across classrooms.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with Prof Rob Coe and the GTT team. The data you will handle includes:
Some datasets are already collected; others are in development. Our extensive data allows us to explore effective educational practices and teacher development. Additionally, you will contribute to external research projects like the TIDE project, funded by the Nuffield Foundation, with one day a week dedicated to this work.
The position is permanent and full-time, with flexibility for part-time or other arrangements. Details include:

Key responsibilities involve data processing, validation, analysis using models like multilevel/mixed effects, SEM, value-added models, and developing new instruments. Proficiency in R or willingness to learn is required. You will also analyze user behavior on the GTT platform, identify user segments, collaborate on A/B testing, and communicate findings clearly, including academic publishing. You will contribute to developing robust, reliable tools and participate in other projects.
