About The Role

Within the Data Science & Insights team, you will oversee designing, creating, and analyzing datasets to support brands like The Beano, Stylist, Puzzler, and The Courier in making informed decisions. Your role involves maintaining accurate reporting frameworks and empowering stakeholders through data, playing a key part in driving growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and editorial teams to embed data into strategic decisions.
  • Promote self-service data analysis and educate stakeholders on data use.
  • Create automated dashboards and reports for seamless data integration.
  • Develop and optimize data models for maximum insight.
  • Innovate in extracting insights from user behavioral data.
  • Maintain data governance and ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
Technical Skills & Experience

Experience with a modern data stack centered on Snowflake, dbt, and Looker is preferred, but not mandatory. Essential skills include:

  • SQL-based data modeling (including version control)
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses
  • Data analysis integrating multiple sources
  • Presenting insights effectively to non-technical audiences
Minimum Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

  • Possess strong communication skills and enjoy teamwork.
  • Be active in the data community.
