The Swansea Academy of Advanced Computing at Swansea University is seeking to appoint a Research Software Engineer to support projects in lattice quantum field theory. This will include delivering aspects of the software roadmap of the provisional Collaborative Computational Project on Theoretical and Experimental Particle Physics (CCP-TEPP), and supporting the reproducibility efforts of the TELOS Collaboration (https://telos-collaboration.github.io)
Candidates should have an understanding of the basic techniques of research software engineering and high-performance computing, in addition to having a PhD in lattice quantum field theory or equivalent experience in this area.
This is initially a fixed term position until late 2026, with the possibility of extension subject to the availability of funding. Applications close on 8 June 2025.
