University of Bath is seeking an experienced Research Security Manager to lead and develop the University's approach to research security, Trusted Research and international research risk management. You will work closely with senior leaders and researchers to ensure compliant, safe and responsible partnerships while shaping policy and culture in this strategic area.

Qualifications

Significant expertise in research security and governance.
Experience interpreting complex regulatory requirements for research/innovation.
Expertise in Trusted Research, export controls, and national security considerations.
Ability to provide credible advice to senior stakeholders and influence decisions.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and judgement.
Excellent communication and relationship-building with researchers and external bodies.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the University's approach to research security and Trusted Research.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulatory requirements across international activities.
Influence policy, practice and culture in a rapidly evolving area of strategic importance.
Collaborate with senior leaders, researchers and professional services to manage risk.
