Job summary

The University of Cumbria is seeking a Programme Leader to provide academic leadership for an innovative security, intelligence and cyber programme. You will collaborate with colleagues across the University and external partners to shape a contemporary curriculum and drive student success.

You will bring subject expertise in security, intelligence, cyber security, risk or related disciplines, deliver high-quality teaching and assessment, and build industry networks to ensure the curriculum

Job description

The successful candidate will act as Programme Leader, providing academic leadership for this innovative programme and ensuring an outstanding student experience. Working closely with colleagues across the University and with external partners, you will help shape a contemporary curriculum that reflects the rapidly evolving fields of security, intelligence and cyber, while supporting recruitment, retention, student success and graduate outcomes.

You will bring relevant subject expertise and professional experience in one or more areas of security, intelligence, cyber security, risk, resilience, investigation or related disciplines. You will have experience of delivering high-quality teaching and assessment in higher education, together with the ability to build strong industry networks and ensure that our curriculum remains aligned to current and emerging sector needs.
