Qualifications

• Demonstrated substantial research experience in cyber security with an emerging track record for Lecturer level and an established profile with funding for Senior Lecturer/Reader.
• Strong conceptual understanding of cyber security with relevant teaching experience at UG/PG levels.
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborations and relationships.
• Commitment to excellence in research and teaching and to student experience and ethical professional conduct.
• Senior roles require academic leadership and a clear research vision and knowledge of modern teaching methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• Develop and publish research, seek funding, and disseminate results to industry and policymakers.
• Collaborate with other groups within the university and with regional, national, and international partners.
• Contribute to running the department, including student placements, ethics processes, recruitment and governance.
