Senior AI Researcher

Research Scientist (Junior/Senior)

Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: £75,000 – £110,000 + bonus + generous stock options

Excited about shaping the future of AI in biology through foundational research?

Qualifications:

  • MSc and 2-3 years experience/ PhD or equivalent experience in AI, ML, Computational Biology, or related field.
  • Track record of impactful research with publications in top journals/conferences.
  • Experience leading research projects or mentoring junior scientists (for senior roles).
  • Background in generative models (e.g., diffusion, Bayesian Flow Networks) or multimodal ML
  • Interest or experience in biological domains like drug discovery, genomics, proteomics, protein design etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive cutting-edge research in multimodal generative models for biological applications.
  • Collaborate with internal researchers and strategic partners to advance research goals.
  • Present and publish findings in top-tier conferences, journals, and industry events.
  • Contribute to building a collaborative, innovative, and knowledge-sharing research culture.
  • Engage in cross-functional projects with applied BioAI and external collaborators such as NVIDIA/ leading AI labs at Oxford/ Cambridge/ MIT/ DeepMind.
