Acceler8 Talent in London seeks a Founding Research Scientist to lead the Physical AI and robotics program. You will define the research roadmap, prototype on real robots, and publish results as part of building a world-class team.

You could be a PhD student, PostDoc or industry researcher, and you’ll own the direction from day one, with equity and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent with strong experimental robotics background.
• Evidence of published or public research on robotics or AI for physical systems.
• Ability to define and execute a research roadmap from day one.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the research roadmap for Physical AI robotics.
• Prototype, test, and iterate on real robotic platforms.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to translate research into products.
• Publish results and build an independent research reputation.
